In staying as the witness, which could also be called the awareness or the unchanging, we come to witness all that changes. Here, we experience less reaction to the field of the changing. People say everything in life changes. It is true that all of life appears to be changing. However, that which changes is only perceptible by that which does not.

You, are that.

The one who witnesses. That one who remains. The unchanging.

In the depths of winter
the bud of the flower
contains within it
summers full expression

When we meet the unchanging divinity within ourselves, we automatically meet it within the other. Since in Truth, there is only this one, unified force.
